Team Novo Nordisk Announces Multi-Year Partnership with Dexcom

MILAN, Italy — 28 September 2026 — Team Novo Nordisk, the world's first all-diabetes professional cycling team, today announced a multi-year partnership with Dexcom, a global leader in continuous glucose monitoring, beginning with the 2027 season.

The partnership brings back together two organizations built around the same conviction: that people living with diabetes should have the tools, information and confidence to live with greater freedom and confidence. Dexcom previously supported the team's riders, who have used its continuous glucose monitoring technology throughout their careers, through several generations of the product. Starting January 2027, Dexcom returns in a substantially expanded role, taking a prominent position on the team's race kit.

Every athlete on Team Novo Nordisk lives with type 1 diabetes. Across the 2026 season, the team raced across 16 countries, competing at the highest level of professional cycling while managing a condition that shapes nearly every moment in life.

Technology has been central to that from the beginning. When the team was founded, checking glucose meant stopping to do it. Continuous glucose monitoring removed that interruption, and in doing so removed a ceiling on what an athlete living with diabetes could reasonably attempt.

"When we started this team, we were told that racing at this level with type 1 diabetes was not realistic. Our riders now race nearly every week in front of the world. Continuous glucose monitoring is already part of how these athletes train, race, and recover. The partnership builds on that with joint activation at races and events, first-person storytelling from athletes with diabetes, and riders featured as Dexcom Warriors, putting their experience in front of a global community of people living with diabetes.
